The Rescue Vac reduces the time to complete a trench rescue by 80%. An average 8-10 hour rescue is reduced to 1 to 2 hours with the use of the Rescue Vac. What other product on the market today can make that kind of positive statement and have demonstrated its ability like the Rescue Vac has!

This saves lives!!!

It allows us (firefighters) to get to the victim much faster and from a safer location. It is a WIN WIN in my book. Any location that has trenches or digging and might collapse on a worker needs this and trained responders on scene ASAP!!!

Rescue Vac speeds rescue while keeping firefighters safe. What would normally takes hours and place several firefighters in danger of death or serious injury can be accomplished in a fraction of the time with a significant reduction in personal risk. Additionally, with fewer personnel needs for less time more firefighters remain available for other emergencies and overtime costs are reduced.

I have responded to and operated at six trench collapse emergencies, four of which were successful rescues. The last successful rescue was July of 2008 in which the Rescue Vac system was used. My rescue team did not have a Rescue Vac for the previous trench collapse emergencies, as we purchased the system in 2007. Based on comparison of previous incidents where hand-digging was used to last year’s rescue with the Rescue Vac, there is no question in my mind that this product easily reduces the amount of time to remove soil from a trapped victim while increasing rescuer safety. Although sadly ironic, my rescue team used the Rescue Vac yesterday to assist with the recovery of a worker that was entrapped in a grain bin. Although this was a recovery operation, the system provided an added measure of rescuer safety. I can say with great confidence and first-hand experience in life and death situations that this innovative product has and will continue to save lives.

What a great kit to have available for all your trench needs. Can't beat a product that is made in the U.S.A.

This is a proven product that has already saved lives, and isn't that what we are here for? I am sold on it. It will continue to be a asset for many rescue teams.

For firemen by firemen. One of a kind!!

There are good innovations and then there are great innovations. An innovation that saves lives in dire circumstances qualifies as a GREAT innovation in my book. I'm pleased to say I've met the firemen who developed this and you couldn't find people who are more deserving of an award - saving lives is their forte and they are dedicated to finding ways to improve the odds!
