I think GROUPon's concept of group buying power is brilliant! And instrumental in this rough economy! It's definitely encouraged me to part with $ I would otherwise not have---had the services/opportunities not been presented so directly--and such great deals! This is by far my favorite service! I too get excited about what the next deal will be. I use it when planning trips to other cities. I just bought my brother-in-law a bike tour around San Fran because my sister took him there on a surprise birthday trip. I have made several purchases from Groupon & have been satisfied every single time. I am a single mother with two teenagers and a life long Chicago resident. Groupon provides an opportunity for me & my family to explore the city and partake in activities we might not have been otherwise able to. Also, there is always something different and interesting. Groupon highlights activities in the city I may have otherwise not known about. Just this weekend we took the Chicago food tour and had an amazing time. Also, the customer service is friendly & extremely prompt with their responses.

Groupon is the BEST thing to happen to consumers who are lucky enough to be in one of their servicing areas! I live in Chicago, and haven't "experienced" Chicago and all of the great things (food, culture, architecture, sporting events, etc.) that it has to offer. I have an "intown" condo for business. I don't have time to plan activities outside of work for my free time. Groupon does my planning for me while saving me hundreds of dollars! i'm a groupon groupie because it does a great job at helping me enhance my life without destroying my budget. HOWEVER i realized while speaking to a friend that runs a shop that has been groupon'd just how much small businesses benefit from the process. The reduction in price allows a person who might not consider the splurge a chance to come in and enjoy the product and more often than not a repeat customer is born from it...and small businesses need the loyalty of their consumers...groupon is doing awesome things!

This is a great way for less known as well as established businesses to get exposure to a large audienence. I'd never heard of Just Grapes before and now it's one of my favorite places to visit. Groupon is by far the best innovative concept. And it's the most useful. I'm completely hooked. I think I have bought at least 20 Groupons and my friends have bought several as well. The great discounts allow you to try new restaurants or places at a fraction of the cost. Some places, I may not have otherwise tried if it wasn't for the discount. And there are a variety of useful services that are offered as well. In this economy, it's nice to still be able to enjoy some of life's little extras at an affordable price. They also have the best response time and customer service I've seen anywhere. They are quick to resolve issues and help the customer. I've even recommended Groupon to people in other states or visitors. They should definitely win!

I Groupon is the best! I purchased multiple groupons that I wouldn't have had otherwise. Smart concept and one that I would continue to use. Also, they are not too busy to answer your questions.

Not only are the deals great, but I'm being introduced to organizations I never knew existed! It's a great "kick in the pants" to get out of the house and "do stuff!" A dynamic organization that consistently offers discounts to organizations I've either never heard of or in some cases avoided because of disproportionately high fees. So, Groupon is allowing me to discover and participate in events/activities in NYC --I'm a tourist in my hometown thanks to this savvy group.

Groupon is brilliant! I've turned so many people on to Groupon, too. I've gotten to try so many restaurants, spa deals, etc. and take advantage of savings at high-end retailers in Chicago. It's also great for gifts for friends and family in other cities or if I'm travelling and want deals along the way.

I've been a groupon member for just 2 weeks. They have unbelievable offers for quality stuff. In this time frame I have purchased several offers. Plan to use for our anniversary and a birthdays in the next few weeks. Also I put the offers on Facebook to share with friends. During these tough economic times, people will spend their scarce dollars for great stuff at bargain prices. Groupon is providing this service in an innovative manner. I think that Groupon is providing a huge stimulus to the U.S. economy. Hope that they win by a large margin.

This concept is a brilliant new way to market in today's information-rich environment. It uses the power of fast communication to guarantee a business in advance that it will have high enough volume so that it can lower its marginal profit in exchange, thus allowing the business to offer a price lower than it otherwise could offer, and in turn attracting more customers than would have been willing to pay the lowest price the business could otherwise have offered without the Groupon-guaranteed volume. The timing of this idea was ideal, because in a weak economy like today's, more consumers than before will be willing to sacrifice some degree of choice of what to consume in exchange for savings, but I suspect the model will continue to work when the economy improves. In the end, there's no doubt this new company already helps the individuals and businesses involved now, and as the concept catches on, it may become bigger than the company itself and change the landscape of the economy. But I'm not an economist, just a lawyer in NYC and a fan of Groupon, chiming in with my two cents. This idea was innovative enough to make me join this Chicago website just so I could sing Groupon's praises, and Groupon's got my vote. You go, Groupon!
