Illinois workNet Center of Northern Cook County
The Volunteer Network run by the Illinois workNet Centers of Northern Cook County has helped over 3,500 jobless suburban residents. The Network, presents workshops stressing customization and marketing as key components of an effective job search strategy. The Network is made up of 35-40 active volunteers who rotate to present 6-hour “Power Employment Workshops” at 9 separate locations across the Northern suburbs of Cook County.
