Dan Lyne

Dan specializes in targeting and facilitating corporate relocation and real estate expansion projects for global technology firms. He markets the region's technology landscape, advises on municipal program development for business technologies, and serves as a liaison for corporate technology & digital media leadership on behalf of Chicago and the World Business Chicago Board of Directors. Dan has held positions on the Mayor's Council of Technology Advisors, the Illinois CIO & IT Executive Exchange, and additionally serves on the Advisory Boards for DePaul University's College of Digital Media and the newly formed College of Communications.

Dan sat on the City of Chicago's Broadband Development Task Force and also serves on the Midwest Executive Committee for the international FIRST Robotics program. Dan has also assumed various leadership roles through the National Skills & Standards Board and the Chicago Public Schools eBrigade program. At his current post, Dan speaks to local, national & international audiences representing Chicago-based public/private technology & digital media / communications initiatives. Dan attends as much live music as possible in his spare time. He has worked and studied abroad and has a voracious appetite for new media. He holds a Juris Doctor from Chicago's John Marshall School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature & Creative Writing from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio.
