Chicago Innovation Awards: Moving Chicago Forward
The mission of the Chicago Innovation Awards is to celebrate, educate, and connect innovators across all industries in the Chicago region.
Join us and hundreds of the region’s innovators who have been nominated for the 2016 Chicago Innovation Awards. This annual celebration brings together those who are pioneering innovation with brand new products, services and processes — meet them all at the Nominee Reception.
We invite you to join us on Thursday, September 29th for The Practical Innovator, a day-long executive education program hosted at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, one of the world’s foremost centers for executive education. The Practical Innovator will feature senior Kellogg faculty members who teach the practical skills of innovation, along with a few special guests.
Join 1500 people as Chicago’s innovation community comes together to shine a bright light on the creative spirit of Chicago by focusing attention on the most innovative new products and services introduced in the region. The winners each year are innovations that uniquely fill unmet needs, spark a competitive response in the marketplace, exceed market expectations, achieve financial success, and improve people’s lives. They emerge from the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. Most importantly, the Chicago Innovation Awards remind us that innovation is thriving in the Chicago region.
The Chicago Innovation Awards, Lincoln Park Village, and the Retirement Research Foundation will host Innovation for the Ages, a celebration of “ageless innovators” who have successfully launched a new product, service, business or non-profit after the age of 60. The event will shine a spotlight on 60+ year old innovators who have reinvented themselves and defied the stereotypical path to retirement; rather, their focus is on “un-retirement” and making unique contributions to society. The event will include a panel discussion featuring the “ageless innovators”. Seating is limited to the first 300 guests.
